...but for now here's a simple cheese sauce recipe
to wet your appetite.
Easy cheese sauce (serves 4)
Ingredients:
500g Natural Yoghurt
100g Cheese (a hard cheese like cheddar is best)
2 Eggs
Optional:
Salt
Pepper
Lemon Juice
2 Sprigs of Fresh Mint (coarsely chopped)
Method:
Blend yoghurt and eggs – whisk until smooth.
Bring to the boil – stirring all the time.
Add the cheese and salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste.
When all the cheese has melted, add the mint.

This recipe was conceived when our fridge/freezer went faulty and we had 2kg of natural yogurt, 500g of cheese and a freezer full of frozen fish to eat up.
